Nifty Notes #1
with Leah Knight
Nifty Notes #1 is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Director, Mrs. Knight.
Nifty Notes is a music immersion and exploration program where students will learn the beginner musical concepts such as reading notes, counting and basic musicianship skills while learning to play many different instruments.
Nifty Notes Camp is a 15 week course created for students ages 4-7 years. Parents are welcome to attend class along with their child.
Students will study piano, voice, desk bells and percussion. The class will conclude with the Christmas Recital.

Home School Music
with Leah Knight
Home School Music is a 45 minute weekly class taught by Director, Mrs. Knight.
Home School Music is a Montessori inspired immersion and exploration program for families interested in the arts. Students will learn note reading and recognition, counting, solfège & singing, explore musical genres and participate in basic composition under the guidance and direction of an engaging and dedicated teacher. All supplies are included.
Kid’s Voice Class
with Leah Knight
Kid’s Voice Class is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Director, Leah Knight.
Students will experience a fun, interactive approach to the technics of singing. With opportunities to sing in small groups and perform solos, students will be immersed in a comprehensive study of healthy vocal techniques at an early age.
Kid’s Voice Class is a 15 week course created for children ages 7-12 year. The class will conclude with a Christmas Recital where students will perform for their friends, family and community.
Piano/ Percussion Class
with Mrs. Knight
Piano /Percussion Camp is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Director, Leah Knight.
This is a 15 week course where students will learn the fundamentals of music as they study the piano and learn the basics of drumming. With hands-on activities and music theory games, students will develop a working knowledge of their instruments and establish a strong foundation for their musical journey.
The class will conclude with a performance at the Academy’s Christmas Recitals.
Guitar & Ukulele Class
with Mrs. Knight
Beginner Guitar & Ukulele Class is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Director, Leah Knight.
The class is for students ages 7-12 years.
This is a 15 week course where students will develop basic musicianship skills as they learn to read notes and count, play chords, read tableture and explore the art of singing and playing together.
The class will conclude with a performance in the Academy’s Christmas Recitals where students will share their music with the public.

Piano Lessons
with Mrs. Bachmann
Piano Lessons are designed to give students a working knowledge of music and its fundamentals. Students will learn to read and write musical notation, count, understand and recognize basic musical forms, interpret musical terms and become acquainted with musical definitions as well as identifying, reading and writing melody and harmony.
No experience required for students to register for lessons. Whatever your experience, piano lessons will be a great fit for you.
Senior Songbirds
with Leah Knight
The Senior Songbirds is a unique class designed specifically for adults ages 55 years and older. Seniors will be taught how to achieve healthy vocal production, develop a working knowledge of vocal technique and build a general knowledge of music. The class will explore many genres of music including folk, country, traditional, hymns and much more.

Teen Acting Class
with Leah Knight
The Teen Acting class focuses on developing foundational acting skills, including charger development, scene study, improvisation, and audition techniques, while also building confidence and communication skills. Students will explore various acting methods, work on monologues and scripts and participate in performances and film projects.
The class will conclude with a presentation of student’s work at the Academy’s recital.
Kid’s Acting Class
with Leah Knight
The Film Maker’s Camp is an incredible opportunity for budding young actors, screen writers or just a teen with an idea! Whatever your background, this unique camp will engage, challenge and inspire you to grow and learn as a visual story teller.
Camp activities will include viewing and analyzing a variety of film styles, completing weekly film challenges, story boarding and so much more.
The camp will conclude with a presentation opportunity at the Summer Showcase.
Fiddle Workshops
with Leah Knight
The Fiddle Workshops are taught by Director, Leah Knight.
The fiddle classes are for beginner students ages 10 & up.
This is a 6 week course where students will be immersed in all things fiddle and trained in basic music skills as well!
Violins are available for rent or purchase upon request.
The workshops will conclude with a performance at the Annual Family Barn Dance in Lake Park, MN.
DIY Class for Kids
with Leah Knight
The DIY Class for Kids is an incredible 15 week Montessori inspired class where students will learn the basics of using tools, enjoy the “workshop” environment and complete a series of exciting projects including: SCULPTURE, DRAWING, PAINTING, WOODWORKING and SO MUCH MORE.
The course is geared towards students ages 6-12 and will conclude with a display of all student projects at the Academy’s Recitals.
Stage Make-Up Class
with Leah Knight
Stage Make-Up class is the most incredibly FUN and educational experience. The class provides instruction in the techniques and artistry of theatrical makeup application. Students learn to inhale actors’ features for visibility under stage lighting, create character transformations, and develop skills in corrective, character and special effects make up. The course also covers the tools, materials, and safety practices necessary for professional stage makeup application.
The class will conclude with a complete display/presentation of student’s work at the Academy’s recital.
